How will you hold members accountable for completing tasks on time?
Of course, I cannot make anyone do anything. Before I can even think about holding someone else accountable to their work and deadlines, I first have to hold myself accountable. I must be the example that I would want members to follow. Next, I have to make sure all deadlines are concise and have been made clear. Once those two things have been done, it is now appropriate to hold members accountable to their deadlines. This can be done by holding a meeting with the members to discuss why the deadline isn’t being met, what strategies can be used to get back on track, and the possible consequences of not meeting the deadline. In some cases, a discussion of reassigning work might be necessary.

While working as a court records specialist, part of my job was entering the demographic information of defendants into Miami Dade’s court records database. This required me to double check the spelling of every defendants name and address, as well as the defendants phone number and date of birth. I would also input information regarding the defendants traffic ticket, such as the date of the ticket, the infraction code violated, the name of the officer that wrote the ticket, and more.
