Netflix is my favorite streaming platform because of its expansion in producing tv shows and movies centering around different cultures. As a South Asian diaspora, it has helped me reconnect with my identity after 10+ years of struggles. My current obsession is watching short food (menu please) and comedy (behensplaining) segments from Netflix India's youtube channel. I also enjoy their IG account, specifically Netflix Golden where they highlight the Asian diaspora. It's truly inspiring to see this type of creative pathway for us Asians. With some fixes, I'm hopeful and excited to see what's to come within the next 5, 10, and 20 years from now.

I first started journaling when I was 11 years old when a mentor gave me a mini notebook. Since then it has helped me learn more about myself through interactions and events that occurred in my life. It has given me a therapeutic feeling and safe space to learn to be vulnerable with my emotions with others, in which I hope this would help build a sense of community through authenticity and unconditional love. Overall, journaling has always been one of the various outlets where I have continued to discover how I want to live my truth.

Stay true to your values to connect and open people's mind and create space for them to feel and reflect. I find inspiration by reflecting on my own experiences, reading stories about people and organization's journey, and from children. From these inspirations, it's important that I learn something from them as I don't know and haven't experience everything. We all have something to share to build a sense of community.
