KNowing the tone and Style expectations in the GIG description, Brainstorm a concept you'd bring to life if you're accepted into this GIG.
Knowing the tone and style expectations, I would create a concept centered around documenting my real growth as a student creative, titled “Building a Portfolio in Real Time.” The idea would be to show that you don’t have to wait until after college to create professional-quality work—you can start building it now using Adobe Creative Cloud. For the influencer content wave, I would create a short-form video that follows one project from start to finish. I’d begin with a real assignment or project—either from class or my nonprofit, One Farmer at a Time—and show my process using tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I would highlight how I take an initial idea and turn it into a polished, portfolio-ready piece, emphasizing the small steps like refining visuals, organizing layouts, and making it presentable. The tone would be very “day in my life” and process-driven, showing both the messy and finished stages. The story-style static asset would visually break down this transformation from rough draft to final product. For the owned content waves, I would expand on this idea by showing consistency and growth over time. One video would focus on how I use Creative Cloud tools across different types of projects—social media graphics, school assignments, and nonprofit work—to build a cohesive portfolio. The second would focus more on career readiness, showing how I package and present my work for opportunities like internships or scholarships. The accompanying static assets would highlight key takeaways, such as “what makes something portfolio-worthy” or “how I turn classwork into real-world experience.” Throughout all content, I would keep the tone authentic and relatable by speaking from my perspective as an agriculture student who uses design daily, even though it’s not always seen as a traditional design major. I want to show other students that creative skills are valuable in any field and that Adobe Creative Cloud gives you the tools to take your ideas seriously and present them at a professional level. Overall, my goal would be to inspire students to recognize the value in the work they’re already doing and show that with the right tools and intention, they can build real-world skills, strong portfolios, and confidence for their future careers.

What adobe applications do you have experience with? Please elaborate.
I have experience using several Adobe applications, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop. As an agricultural major, I use these programs regularly for both coursework and creative projects. Through my classes, I’ve developed skills in designing visual materials such as presentations, marketing graphics, and educational content. I also use these tools extensively for my nonprofit, One Farmer at a Time, where I create social media content, branding materials, and promotional designs to engage audiences and share agricultural stories. I especially enjoy the creative process and using design to communicate meaningful messages within the agriculture industry.
