How would you get students on your camps excited about taking vitamins (be as creative as possible)?
To instill excitement about taking vitamins among our students, we're implementing a multifaceted approach that blends education with creativity and fun. Our strategy begins with interactive workshops designed to immerse students in the fascinating world of vitamins. Through hands-on activities and colorful displays, we'll showcase the benefits of different vitamins in a way that's both informative and engaging. Additionally, we're enlisting the support of local celebrities and sports personalities to endorse the importance of vitamins, adding a touch of glamour and inspiration to the campaign.
To inject an element of friendly competition, we're launching vitamin challenges and games. Whether it's a "Vitamin Bingo" card or a "Vitamin Treasure Hunt" across campus, students will be motivated to meet their daily vitamin goals while having fun and earning rewards. Furthermore, we're partnering with nutrition companies to create custom-made vitamin gummies in enticing shapes and flavors, transforming the act of taking vitamins into a delightful experience.
Our approach also includes the development of an interactive mobile app tailored to students' interests. This app will allow them to track their vitamin intake, participate in educational quizzes, discover healthy recipes, and earn virtual rewards for their efforts. Additionally, we're organizing themed events and parties centered around vitamins, offering opportunities for students to indulge in nutritious snacks, play interactive games, and learn more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore, we're empowering student ambassadors to spearhead the initiative within their peer groups. These enthusiastic ambassadors will organize creative contests, share tips and insights, and serve as role models for embracing healthy habits. By combining education, creativity, and peer influence, we aim to make taking vitamins not only beneficial but also enjoyable and rewarding for our students, fostering a culture of wellness and vitality throughout our campus community.

Tell us about a time you had to plan an event
As the sports secretary at my K-12 school in India, I took on the responsibility of coordinating our annual sports day, a significant event involving the entire school community of 500 students and staff. The task was daunting but exciting.
First, I assembled a team of enthusiastic volunteers to help with various aspects of the event, such as logistics, scheduling, and managing equipment. We divided responsibilities to ensure every aspect of the sports day was well-planned and executed.
Next, we worked closely with teachers and coaches to organize a diverse range of sports activities and games suitable for students of all ages and skill levels. From traditional races like sprints and relays to more unique events like sack races and tug-of-war, we wanted to ensure there was something for everyone to enjoy.
We also arranged for refreshments and snacks to keep everyone energized throughout the day, coordinating with vendors and ensuring that dietary needs were accommodated.
On the day of the event, our planning paid off. Everything ran smoothly, from the opening ceremony to the final awards presentation. Students, teachers, and parents alike enjoyed a day filled with fun, friendly competition, and camaraderie.
Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces and hearing the cheers of encouragement made all the hard work worthwhile. It was a rewarding experience that taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, organization, and leadership.

What are three groups on your camps that MaryRuth's should partner with and why?
I think the first, and most important group that MaryRuth should partner with should be CYC (consult your community) which is a club here at UCLA. CYC works with companies and works together to create a company that is not just in the works, but with perspectives from students who are going to be changing the world in a few years. And what better than to be known by over 30k students at UCLA!
The second group that MaryRuth should partner with is Greek Life. There are many sororities at UCLA and I feel the primary market of MaryRuth is girls who are very focused on health and wellness. By partnering with Greek Life, there are over 2000+ girls who would get to know about this brand and word of mouth would also play a very important role in the marketing of this product.
The third group that MaryRuth should partner with is the restaurants and cafes and shops here at UCLA. What better way to make the purchasing of these products than at the doorstep of our campus and home.
