Which platform do you find more effective for audience engagement: Instagram or TikTok?
I find that TikTok is a platform that houses a lot of audience engagement. Instagram is a more polished platform where people tend to only post the best parts of their lives. TikTok is more casual, people post their everyday experiences and just anything they create. The more relatable and personal posts are more appealing to viewers, and is easier for creators to create community with their audience! Relatable content or just content sharing real-life experiences sparks more comments or more viewers wanting to follow that creator to see more/ or if they identify with that creator!

How do you approach creating engaging short-form videos for social media?
Especially for short form videos I like to think of what will catch the viewers attention. It is easy for viewers to get bored, and move on to the next video. So I try to think of what I can do in the beginning of the video that will keep the viewer engaged. I also try to keep my content real. I don’t want my videos to seem overly corporate, people want to see real people and their lives. They want to see what products actually work and are worth it from a personal standpoint! I like to keep my videos fun and creative! People are more hesitant to watch a super informative video that isn’t attention grabbing or personal.
