Share a time when you've been able to mobilize a group of people around a product, service, or cause you feel passionate about?
It was the mid-semester and everyone was basically burnt out over the large amounts of assignments that were due. Instead of focusing within lectures, many students would just fall asleep or not show up at all. I informed my professor about the issue and I introduced a possible solution.
At this time I had bought a new webcam and was very passionate about it due to the quality, cost and software. I suggested that using a few of these webcams we could livestream the live lectures online. so that students could save time by not having to come into campus. This way students won't have to wake very early and get dressed for lectures. This solution also made it possible for the lecture recordings to be retrieved at any time by the students, which added further convenience. My professor liked the idea and proposed the idea to the class, to which everyone agreed.
Through this experience I was able to introduce my professor to a product which I really loved, as well as several of my classmates. Throughout the rest of the semester a lot of students would comment on the quality of the recordings, and I was able to introduce the product to other individuals who would use them more commonly such as twitch streamers, and content creators.
