What tools do you prefer for designing marketing assets and why?
For designing marketing assets, I primarily prefer Figma, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, and sometimes Canva depending on the requirements. Figma is my go‑to for social media sets, web banners, and campaign visuals because it’s great for consistent components, quick iterations, and real‑time collaboration with marketers and developers.
When I need more detailed image editing, advanced typography, or print‑ready files, I switch to Photoshop and Illustrator since they offer industry‑standard control over colour, export settings, and vector graphics. For very fast turnarounds or when non‑design teammates need to edit content, I use Canva because its templates and brand‑kit features make it easy to keep everything on‑brand without slowing the workflow. Overall, this combination lets me balance speed, collaboration, and high‑quality output across different types of campaigns.
