Can you describe a successful social media campaign you led and its impact on engagement metrics?
A successful social media campaign I led was running my high school’s football spirit page on Instagram. My goal was to increase game attendance and boost school spirit, so I created a campaign leading up to each game that included daily posts, themed graphics, and short videos. For example, I designed countdown graphics with bold school colors, filmed hype videos with football players calling students to the game, and created short skits featuring students showing off their themed outfits (like blackout, neon, or throwback night). I also made interactive story polls and quizzes to get students engaged in picking themes or predicting scores. To make the page inclusive, I featured a wide variety of students—athletes, band members, cheerleaders, and others—so it felt like the entire school community was represented. These creative touches built excitement and gave students a reason to check the page every day. Engagement grew significantly as more students liked, shared, and tagged friends in posts, and game attendance increased because the content made students feel part of the event before it even started. Overall, the campaign not only boosted engagement on the page but also had a real-life impact by building stronger school spirit and driving more students to get involved.

How do you approach creating social media content that resonates with a diverse audience?
I approach creating social media content that resonates with a diverse audience by focusing on universal experiences and authentic storytelling. While I often share health and wellness content, I also create posts around lifestyle, student life, daily routines, and even lighthearted, relatable moments. This variety makes it easier for different people to connect with my content—whether they’re interested in fitness tips, dorm-friendly meals, productivity hacks, or just the humor of everyday life. To keep it engaging, I make sure my videos have a strong hook in the first few seconds, are broken into short clips for retention, and are edited in a clean, dynamic way on CapCut. I aim to create content that is not only savable and shareable, but also feels genuine and inclusive. By balancing inspiration with relatability, I’ve found that I can connect with people across different backgrounds and interests, making the content feel approachable to a wide audience.

Can you give an example of a successful content strategy you implemented in the past?
One successful content strategy I’ve implemented has been creating day-in-the-life videos as a college student focused on health and wellness. These perform really well because they’re authentic, relatable, and give viewers a glimpse into how I balance school, fitness, and everyday routines. To keep people engaged, I break the videos into short clips, use strong hooks in the first few seconds, and highlight simple habits or tips that viewers can save and try themselves. I’ve also found success with content like “Top 10 healthy habits that transformed my routine,” quick and easy high-protein meals, and dorm-friendly recipes. These types of posts are highly savable and shareable, which drives more engagement and helps them reach a wider audience. The key has been combining practical value with authenticity—showing realistic wellness habits that people feel inspired to try, rather than content that feels unattainable.
