Yes! I'm familiar with Shopify POS. I know how to: Process transactions — cash, card, and digital payments Apply discounts and promo codes at checkout Look up products and inventory on the spot Issue refunds or exchanges when needed Capture customer info like emails for follow-up It's a pretty intuitive system, and I've used it enough that I can keep checkout moving smoothly even when it's busy — which matters a lot at a pop-up setting where you don't want customers waiting around.

What retail experience do you have that would help you in this role?

I've worked in customer-facing sales roles where engaging people and driving sales was a core part of the job — not just a side task. I'm already comfortable with Shopify POS, so checkout won't slow me down when it gets busy. More than the transactions though, I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. I naturally ask questions, listen, and make customers feel like they belong — which is exactly the kind of energy a brand pop-up like this needs. I've also gotten good at picking up on what customers respond to and what makes them hesitate, and passing that back to the team in a useful way. That's the kind of awareness I'd bring to the 1 Hotel weekend.
