Why do love ube one?

As a college student, Uber One provides an affordable solution to the limitations of on-campus food for me. The lack of delivery fees is really helpful, and I also don't have a car which means the percentage back on rides helps me save. I work two jobs on campus, so I get really tired after a long day of classes and work and usually don't have the time or energy to cook a whole meal. Uber One helps me get deliveries quickly that are affordable and healthy, so I am definitely a fan!

How do you usually keep track of tasks, follow-ups, or deadlines when things are moving fast?

As someone who is a full time student, works 2 jobs on campus during the school year, and is on the board for 2 clubs at school I know how important it is to keep track of tasks and schedules. I have found that for me it works best to keep all my events in my Google Calendar (I check it more than my social media sometimes) and to keep a running to-do list and deadline tracker on Notion.

Tell us about a time you helped something run more smoothly, or solved a problem on your own.

On campus, I work as a Technical Writer at our IT Department. Last fall, we were hiring a lot of people at an accelerated pace but didn't have the process documentation to help facilitate that. I was one of the first student assistants we had hired in that capacity, so I knew firsthand how troubling it could be to be onboarded without clear communication and understanding. I worked on leading the creation process documentation and training materials for the new hires, making sure to connect with each department and understand what they would need the students to do. I also made sure to sit down multiple times with each student so that I could walk them through the new onboarding process and answer any questions they had. As a result, we were able to train the increased number of student assistants and situate them to a job and environment they were not comfortable with.
