Although I measure the success of my content by the number of likes, comments, and views, these are not the only factors that matter. I also believe that content is successful if it engages an audience that is different than my typical audience. Even if that new audience does not "like" the video, the fact that they see it is an opportunity. I focus not only on success in terms of engagement but also in potential growth in audience.

The most important factor in engaging young audiences is authenticity. The first thing that causes young people to scroll past a video is the idea that they are being advertised to. Therefore, the best content to resonate with young audiences is content that does not feel like an ad. Using authentic experiences and reactions will engage young viewers far more than the most compelling ad appeal.

I ensure good quality by being intentional about the clips that I include in videos. Although filming content is important, I believe that they key to high-performing videos is in the editing process. Determining which video clips to include in a video, their ordering, and the audio overlay are key to ensuring high quality videos.
