How would you answer this question: What signals tell you a brand ‘gets’ Gen Z versus when they’re obviously trying too hard?

When a brand gets Gen Z, they are putting thoughtfulness into their communication and how they integrate themselves to the generation. It's obvious when they're trying too hard when it's a hard switch into new packaging (changing logo/branding to "young and hip" fonts, that clearly don't fit) or coming out with a product that is trending (ex. Dubai Chocolate everything!). Listen to your consumers and how you can adapt to their needs, don't try to force what you think will work.

Are you located in or around the SF area for the date of the event (JAN 20th) and do you have public speaking experience?

I can be! And yes I do :)
