One of my favorite songs 'Phir Se Ud Chala' from the bollywood movie Rockstar, feels like waking up mid-dream disoriented, weightless, but full of possibility. It starts like a quiet whisper to the sky and then slowly takes flight, as if your soul is trying to break free from the ordinary. The rhythm has this restless heartbeat, and Mohit Chauhan’s voice floats like smoke in the cold air unsure and yearning. It feels like color bleeding into a black-and-white world, like standing on the edge of something beautiful but not knowing what it is yet. There’s freedom in it, but also a soft ache, the kind of ache you get when you’re chasing something bigger than yourself. Listening to it is like being caught between a prayer and a rebellion.

Ove the last few years, I have been learning to play guitar. I come from India, a country where music is woven into everyday life. I’ve grown up immersed in Bollywood as well as western music, which blends emotion, storytelling, and rich cultural layers in a way that’s deeply personal and powerful. My familiarity with a wide range of music, from timeless classics to modern, genre-bending hits allows me to bring a unique and culturally nuanced perspective to how music feels, moves, and connects with people. I definitely understand the emotional rhythms of music that tell a story.
