Do you have any experience in negotiation? If not, how would you negotiate down a creator's fee?
If I needed to negotiate down a creator’s fee, I’d focus on offering non-monetary value while ensuring the deal remains beneficial for both parties.First, I’d research their typical rates and provide data-backed reasoning for my budget constraints, emphasizing the potential long-term relationship rather than a one-time deal. I’d highlight cross-promotion opportunities, such as featuring them on additional platforms or in brand campaigns, which can increase their exposure. If budget flexibility is limited, I’d propose a performance-based structure, where a portion of the payment is tied to engagement metrics (e.g., bonuses for hitting certain views or shares). Additionally, I’d explore bundle deals, such as securing multiple posts at a discounted rate or offering creative freedom in exchange for a lower fee.

What do you look for in a creator who has potential for viral content but isn't yet widely discovered?
I look for creators who have a unique content style, strong engagement, and a clear understanding of trends but haven’t yet reached mainstream audiences. High potential creators often have a distinct voice, whether through humor, storytelling, or a fresh perspective on popular topics. I’d analyze their engagement rate (likes, comments, shares) rather than just follower count, ensuring their audience is genuinely interacting. Consistency in posting and adaptability to trends are also key—someone who can put their own spin on viral formats is more likely to break out. Lastly, I’d check if their content has ever gained traction (even on a small scale), indicating they have the potential to go viral with the right push.
