I stay updated on social media trends by consistently consuming content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, where trends usually appear first in real time. I also pay attention to what performs well (hooks, sounds, editing styles, formats) by analyzing viral videos, saving examples, and tracking patterns like recurring audio, captions, and storytelling structures. On top of that, I follow creator communities, marketing pages, and trend reports to understand what’s growing early—then I quickly test and adapt those formats in my own content instead of just watching them.
