How do you build rapport with someone you've never met over DM?
Well... I have to keep this brief so let's say people trust me(i keep up with my words). I don't believe in being all formal and robot like personality with client. I prefer casual and respectful.
With client... I like to research about them first then DM so they don't feel like it's relevant to them
I make them feel seen and heard
I pay attention to their energy(not possible in text but sometimes you know)
I make them feel special like this offer is just for them. They've done great sale even if they didn't. It keeps them motivated. And next time they try harder.
I try to be real so they feel like I'm scamming them
