If you could redesign any everyday object (physical or digital), what would it be and how would you make it better?

If I could redesign any everyday object, I would reimagine the mobile experience of LinkedIn. As a platform centered around professional identity, its mobile UI should feel polished, intuitive, and user-first, but currently it feels visually cramped and overwhelming. For example, the profile layout lacks sufficient side margins, which creates a cluttered, edge-to-edge presentation that can feel disorienting. In the “Analytics” section, I would replace the stacked vertical format with a side-by-side layout that prioritizes iconography and visual hierarchy, making key metrics like profile views and post impressions more scannable at a glance. Likewise, for sections like Skills, Education, and Experience, I’d introduce a horizontal carousel format. This would streamline the browsing experience, reduce cognitive load, and empower users to spotlight their most relevant accomplishments.Ultimately, my redesign would aim to bring clarity, control, and intentionality to the LinkedIn mobile experience - transforming it from a dense resume scroll into a dynamic, user-driven narrative.
