Brand & Community Rep:

Tell me about a time you were a positive touch-point with a customer in a retail experience.
When a customer contacted me when I was working as a sales associate in a store, they were looking for a specific item. I smiled at the customer and asked how I could help because they were a little hurried and anxious.
The client mentioned that they were looking for a specific item but were having problems locating it. I paid close attention and expressed a sincere desire to assist them. When I had a better understanding of what they were looking for, I probed a couple more times before leading them to the product's location.
I presented the client various options as we went and addressed any queries they had. I made careful to give them all the information they would require, including prices, special offers, and return guidelines.
I remained upbeat throughout the exchange, demonstrating concern for and empathy for the customer's requirements. Even when the client asked numerous questions or appeared undecided, I made care to remain polite and patient.
The customer expressed their gratitude for my assistance at the conclusion of the exchange and exited the store beaming. It felt amazing to know that I had helped the consumer find what they were seeking for and improved their purchasing experience. It reaffirmed the value of developing positive client touchpoints and the ways in which doing so can benefit both the customer and the store.
