Can you describe a time you created engaging content on TikTok or Instagram?
I haven’t personally created content on YouTube or Instagram yet, but I spend a lot of time understanding what works on these platforms. I actively observe trending formats, hooks, and storytelling styles, and I analyse why certain videos perform well. For example, I pay attention to how creators use strong hooks in the first few seconds, trending audio, and relatable scenarios to keep viewers engaged. I also save and break down high-performing content to understand patterns that can be applied to a brand. While I may be starting out in terms of posting, I’m confident in my ability to quickly create engaging content because I already understand the market and what drives attention.

How do you stay up-to-date with social media trends?
I stay up-to-date with social media trends by actively using platforms like Instagram and YouTube every day. I regularly check the Explore page, Reels, and TikTok’s For You page to see what type of content, formats, and audio are trending. I also pay attention to creators in similar niches and observe what’s getting high engagement—like hooks, editing styles, and storytelling patterns. If I notice a trend repeating, I save those posts and analyse why they work.
