How do you ensure your reviews are honest and constructive?
I like to not only be positive. Sometimes it feels fake when it is only positive. A little bit of constructive feedback such as a bit too thick, or that it leaves a white cast of your face, are often things I find in products. However, some products seriously have no downfalls, for those products I like to explain what it feels like to put it on my skin and the improvements to my skin that I have noticed. Finally I like reviews that sound like a person actually wrote it and not AI generated.

What qualities do you consider when reviewing beauty products?
I often look at the ingredients first and ensure that they align with what I find important in a product. I work at a dermatology practice and I hear about a lot of different ingredients that are helpful and harmful, so I always make sure to check the label before using. I also like to hear about people's experiences with at least 3 weeks of use, it shows me if they are experiencing any irritations etc. I also like when people compare the product they are reviewing to other well known products, so I can get a sense of what I am buying
