Can you provide an example of a successful social media campaign you worked on?
I worked with Expedia to help grow their media page by exploring advertising opportunities on TikTok. The goal was to increase brand visibility and attract more customers, and my role involved researching the best ways to utilize TikTok’s unique features. I looked into the trending content and audience behavior on the platform to develop targeted advertising strategies. We leveraged TikTok's viral nature by aligning content with trending challenges, sounds, and themes that resonated with travel enthusiasts. This campaign was successful in driving more viewers to Expedia’s page and significantly increasing engagement. By understanding TikTok's creative potential and targeting the right audience, we were able to create content that felt authentic to the platform while promoting Expedia’s offerings. This strategy helped the company reach a broader and more engaged audience.

To stay updated on the latest social media trends, I follow key industry experts and influencers on platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn, which helps me stay on top of emerging trends and strategies. I also spend a lot of time directly engaging with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter to see what’s going viral and what content is resonating with different audiences. In addition, I participate in social media marketing communities and forums to exchange ideas and stay informed about new tools and strategies. By staying hands-on with these platforms and learning from other professionals, I can keep my finger on the pulse of the latest trends without relying on traditional blog subscriptions.
