What’s your approach to improving content based on feedback or analytics?
I treat analytics as a signal for what’s working in the first 1–3 seconds and where attention drops. If a video underperforms, I don’t just change the idea—I identify the exact point where people stop watching and adjust hooks, pacing, or clarity from there. With feedback, I look for patterns rather than one-off opinions. If multiple videos show that a certain hook style, length, or format performs better, I double down on that direction quickly.I also test iteratively: same concept, different hooks or edits, to understand what actually drives retention and engagement. The goal is constant small improvements rather than big resets.

When you get a creative brief, how do you make it feel authentic?
I start by breaking the brief down into the core human message behind it, not just the product or script points. Then I translate that into a real-life situation I would naturally experience or react to.Instead of “explaining the product,” I focus on showing a moment, emotion, or problem that feels familiar and let the message come through organically in that context.I also keep the language simple, conversational, and slightly imperfect so it feels like something I’d actually say, not something written for an ad. Finally, I use pacing, pauses, and natural reactions to make it feel lived-in rather than performed.

What’s your process for coming up with hooks that stop people from scrolling?
I usually start from the viewer’s emotion or curiosity in the first second—because that’s what makes someone stop scrolling. I ask myself: what would make me pause if I saw this on my feed? Then I build hooks around three angles: curiosity (“I didn’t expect this book to feel like this…”), relatability (“If you’ve ever felt stuck, read this…”), or contrast (“This book changed how I see creativity in 10 seconds”).I also keep them short, natural, and slightly unfinished so the viewer wants to continue watching to get the payoff. Since it’s UGC-style, I make sure it feels like a real thought or reaction, not a scripted ad.
