In a few sentences, how would you approach the launch of a new flavor through social media and email marketing?
I'd like to use a hypothetical example to illustrate my idea. Let's say the new flavour is Florence Fire and it is spicy in nature. I'd first use storytelling to tease the product on social media: talk about what the inspiration behind it from the chef's point of view, or an aesthetic edit of florence's orange sunsets and how it is represented by the sauce, and lastly, as we move closer to the actual launch: use fun comparisions to make the audience imagine the taste of the sauce (example: it is a combination of Mcd's BBQ sauce + Subway's chipotle sauce) without overtly revealing the brands, of course - this will make them curious. For, e-mails it would be about the process and sneak peak. Second phase would be the launch itself, so using polls and quizzes as a competition for audience to guess the secret ingredient, put out behind the scenes content for making of the sauce for credibility to the brand and e-mails about the launch, with a promo code, and some reviews from social media itself to drive curiousity. Finally, would be the feedback stage, to monitor what people are saying and interact with the community, generating ideas based on their reactions.
