One topic I’m deeply passionate about is reading specifically, how stories can empower individuals to see themselves in ways they’ve never imagined. I would incorporate this into BBG’s content by connecting reading to STEM and technology. For example, I’d create content highlighting books featuring trailblazing women in STEM or even fictional characters like Shuri from Black Panther.
One video idea could be a TikTok/ Bookstagram style “Book Recommendations for Future Innovators” series, where I recommend books that inspire young women and non-binary students to explore STEM. Another idea could involve showcasing quotes from influential STEM-related books paired with visuals of young women coding, working in labs, or building tech projects.
This approach would tie my passion for reading into BBG’s mission by showing that books can be a gateway to imagining and stepping boldly into careers powered by technology. It also aligns perfectly with the brand’s values by encouraging education and creativity in STEM.

What are you up to in the new year (academics, extra-curriculars etc.)?
I will be completing semester two of my second year in Integrated Marketing Communication and I will also be completing my tenure as a National Youth Parliamentarian for my country. Additionally, I will continue with content creation on my Instagram account dedicated to my love for books that have garnered over 6 million views in 2024.
