How would you engage with event attendees to create a positive brand experience?

During my research this past quarter on consumer behavior, I learned that brands with strong values that align with their consumers tend to build deeper connections and drive more conversions. That’s why, to truly engage event attendees, I would start by immersing myself in Koia’s story and value proposition to understand what makes the brand special and why it resonates with people. From there, I’d focus on genuine conversations with attendees, getting to know their preferences, lifestyles, and what they look for in a shake. To then offer recommendations that feel tailored to them. Whether it’s recommending a Koia flavor based on their taste preferences or highlighting how the brand’s mission aligns with their goals, whether that’s prioritizing health, increasing protein intake, or choosing a better alternative to traditional protein shakes. I’d make sure they feel a genuine connection to the product.

Can you describe a time when you effectively represented a brand at an event?

With my background in both the food industry and brand representation, I believe I would be a great fit for this role. While managing Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar, I played a hands on role in representing the brand at various catered events. A standout experience was catering one of Spike Lee’s summer parties, where I greeted guests, introduced them to our food, and distributed branded marketing materials. I also shared our brand story highlighting that Fat Ronnie’s is one of the first Black-owned burger businesses on Martha's Vineyard, has six generations of restaurateurs, and the concept was inspired by our family legacy. Additionally, during my internship at Edelman, I had the opportunity to work across multiple brands and accounts. One of the most exciting projects I contributed to was a Parisian-inspired pop-up event for Hellmann’s. My role involved supporting the team with last-minute details, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and serving as a go-to resource for anyone who needed assistance.
