Share a few of the most impactful traditions as it relates to March Madness on your campus?
I never really was a part of March Madness because my college didn't really do that event. However! I did go to the F1 race and can completely relate to the excitement and energy of March Madness. One thing that almost all such events have in common is the passionate fans and the high stakes of each completely unpredictable outcome!
In college, we would have this huge Sports Day event called Rendezvous where huge crowds would gather to sing, dance, fashion show, stand-up comedy, and then, of course, sports like track, basketball, football, badminton and more!! It eventually became a tradition for the winner to take a selfie with the trophy or medal and post it on socials with the hashtag #winnerwinnerchickendinner

What groups, organizations, or communities do you lead or play a significant role in?
I was the president of the Toastmasters International Club at the university, where I mentored over 45 students and coached them in the art of public speaking and expressing their own stories on a big stage. I also pioneered the first-of-its-kind drama club in university, where we created plays in both Hindi and English for the street and stage. I also developed an improv team that went on to win many accolades in intercollege competitions. I even mentored your kids from the ages 11-16 on public speaking as a part of the gavels club.
