Do you have an apple music subscription?

No, I use Spotify — it's where I do most of my listening, exploring new music, and curating playlists.

Describe the way your favorite song makes your feel

When I listen to my favorite song, it feels like everything else quiets down. There's a kind of emotional clarity — like the song knows exactly what I'm feeling, even before I do. Whether it’s the lyrics, the melody, or just the tone, it creates this strange sense of nostalgia and comfort, like being understood without having to explain anything. It makes me feel both grounded and transported, like I’m fully present but also somewhere else entirely — a space that’s mine alone.

Do you play or study music? if so, elaborate.

Yes — I minored in Musicology at UCLA, where I explored the history, theory, and cultural significance of music across a wide range of genres and periods. This academic foundation deepened my appreciation for music’s complexity and global reach, and it continues to shape how I engage with sound — whether through critical listening, research, or discovering new artists and styles in my day-to-day life.
