Do you have any experience in negotiation? If not, how would you negotiate down a creator's fee?
Before reaching out to a creator, ensure that you have a clear understanding of what your budget is and what you want to achieve with the collaboration. Knowing the scope of work (e.g., how many posts, what kind of content, deliverables, etc.) and how much you're willing to spend gives you leverage during negotiations. Set a Maximum Budget: Have a hard ceiling in mind. For example, if your budget is $1,000, don't go over that amount. Prioritize Deliverables: Know exactly what you're asking for—do you want a single TikTok post, a series of posts, or other deliverables (like stories or blog posts)? The more specific you are, the easier it is to assess the value of the offer.

What do you look for in a creator who has potential for viral content but isn't yet widely discovered?
Engagement Rate: A key indicator of potential for virality is a high engagement rate (likes, shares, comments, etc.). Even if the creator doesn’t have a massive following yet, a high engagement rate (generally above 3%-10%) suggests that their audience is highly active and invested in their content.
