PERI
On-Campus Brand Ambassador for PERI

What excites you most about PERI and why do you think it would resonate with college students?
What excites me most about PERI is how it brings students together and makes campus life easier and more connected. College can feel overwhelming at times, and PERI offers a simple way for students to stay informed, find events, and connect with others who share their interests. I think it would really resonate with college students because it’s designed for their everyday needs—whether that’s discovering what’s happening on campus, meeting new people, or finding quick resources without having to dig through multiple sites or social media pages. It’s practical, but also social and fun, which makes it something students would actually want to use, not just something they have to. PERI feels like a tool that could genuinely improve how students experience campus life.

What strategies would you use to increase user engagement through social media?
I’d focus on making the content engaging, interactive, and connected to campus life. I’d start by creating fun and relatable posts that show real students using the app or benefiting from it, since people are more likely to try something if they see their friends involved. I’d run challenges or giveaways that require following the app’s page, tagging friends, or sharing posts to win prizes like campus merch or gift cards. Consistency would be key, so I’d post regularly and use trending sounds, memes, or hashtags to keep the content fresh and relevant. I’d also interact with students in the comments and repost their content to make them feel involved. Finally, I’d collaborate with campus influencers or student organizations to reach a wider audience and make the app’s social media feel like a natural part of campus culture.

How would you encourage students to try a new app on campus?
To get people on campus to try a new app, I would focus on making it fun, simple, and worth their time. I’d start by showing how the app actually helps students: whether it’s finding events, saving money, or connecting with others, so people see why it’s useful. I’d hang up flyers with QR codes in busy spots like dining halls and dorms, post short videos on social media showing how the app works, and ask popular students or club leaders to help spread the word. I’d also host a small launch event with snacks or giveaways to get people excited and downloading the app right there. My main goal would be to make the app feel like something everyone on campus needs, not just another download they forget about.
