What's a non-work-related interest or skill that has helped you Professionally?

My interest in blogging about menswear has surprisingly boosted my professional skills. Writing regularly for my blog has taught me how to communicate ideas clearly and authentically which are crucial skills in marketing. It’s also helped me develop an eye for detail and trends, which I bring into branding and content strategies. This creative outlet keeps me curious and inspired, which translates well into my work.

What's Your favorite project you've worked on and why? (ex. what were the steps involved? Did you collaborate with others? What roadblocks did you run into and how did you solve them?)

One of my favorite projects as VP of Marketing was revamping our club’s Instagram to boost engagement and attract new members. I researched what other professional clubs were doing, then developed a content calendar to share event photos, reels, and FAQs. I collaborated with our executive team for feedback, and, to keep up with the posting schedule, I delegated tasks and set up a streamlined content process. This experience was rewarding because it not only increased engagement but also strengthened my skills in content strategy and project management.

To ensure consistency in brand messaging and visuals, I start by establishing clear brand guidelines that cover voice, tone, color schemes, typography, and imagery style. I make sure every asset aligns with these guidelines by creating templates and checklists that keep visuals and messaging cohesive.
