Interview Questions
MUSAY
Part-Time Social Media Coordinator for Musay
what are three content ideas you have for musay?
The Musay effect: before / after transformation: Short-form videos showing a relatable “before” state (messy, stressed, ordinary, bored) and then a quick transition into the “after” state using Musay as the subtle upgrade. The focus is on contrast and feeling.
Match your mood to an experience: A format where different moods (calm, social, curious, creative) are matched with relevant activities or events. This would show how Musay can guide users based on how they feel, making discovery more personal and intuitive rather than just search-based.
What people think vs what’s actually happening: A contrast based format that challenges the idea that there’s “nothing to do.” It would show a common perception (boredom, routine, “same old city”) followed by unexpected cultural or scientific events happening nearby that Musay helps uncover.
Bonusss one: “You’ve probably never heard of this, but it’s happening here”: Short-form videos that spotlight hidden or lesser-known events, exhibitions, or cultural experiences. The goal is to spark curiosity by showing that unique things are constantly happening around you that most people don’t know about.

Do you have experience managing a brand's social media? Tell us about how you approached this!
I don't have formal experience managing a brand's social media yet, but I understand the process and how I would approach it.
I would research what content is currently performing well in the same space on TikTok and Instagram, especially looking at formats, hooks, and storytelling styles rather than just individual trends. Then I would build a simple but consistent content direction, focusing on a few repeatable content pillars instead of random posts. For execution, I would prioritise short-form content that is optimised for retention.
Finally, I would treat it as an iterative process: testing different formats, analysing performance like watch time, saves, and shares, and refining the strategy based on what actually works.
