👋 I’m Radhika (Rad of Radverse), currently studying Media Management at The New School in New York. During my first summer internship in 2015, I fell in love with marketing. With the possibilities. With the stories, relations and magic. The outcomes too. For the next six years, I helped craft and implement creative partnerships and content strategies for emerging & established brands globally. My knack for evolving audience allegiances to tell stories that form and reflect the cultural zeitgeist landed me 6 internships during college, earned me 3 promotions at my first job and helped me build a successful freelance business during a pandemic. Now, I’m studying Media Management at The New School to equip myself with business and leadership skills as well as content production capabilities required to successfully develop and lead media publishing competencies for D2C brands. I also moonlight as Radverse's founder, explore it on Instagram (@theradverse).

What's one way to engage a consumer base with the brand's social media at an in-person event?

A street-interview style Q&A with event attendees that is all the rage on TikTok. This innovative approach will not only create a unique and interactive experience for the attendees, but it will also provide valuable content for our brand's social media. Not only will this generate buzz and increase brand awareness, but it will also create a lasting impression on attendees and make them feel like they are a part of Bellwether Culture :)

What is one thing media brands can do to better appeal to Gen Z on TikTok?

Gen Z values creativity, authenticity, engagement and consistency. They care about relatability and trends, which means that brands have to stay current, decouple content from product revenue and entertain/educate their audience. Case in point: Duolingo's Owl!

What is the most creative gifting initiative you've seen a brand execute?

Summer Fridays's Self Care Club gifting initiative was cool. The branded bag in which they sent the goodies as well as the smaller branded pouches that contained them are all going to be used for long after the the gift was sent and act as a OOH advertising for the brand!
