What is your favorite marketing campaign you've seen?
My favorite marketing campaign is definitely Dove's Real Beauty Campaign. In the fashion and beauty industry, it is still difficult to step outside of normal beauty standards. However, Dove's campaign really broke through a lot of what social media boosts right now. Their campaign had women of different race and even age to show their inclusivity. Their main message was to embrace the differences that we have rather than try to "fix" them to fit the beauty norms. As a teen, social media pushes the idea that only one type of body is "desirable" and Dove pushed that completely aside and said that was wrong. As an Asian teen that grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, I felt isolated and was often told that I looked different than the other girls who developed faster or fuller than I did. I didn't have their shining blue eyes or their full breasts. However, stepping out of that town into Austin was a much needed breath of fresh air and reminder that everyone is unique and different in their own way. The Dove campaign gives me the same serenity and realization that I can truly be happy with who I am, so it was very meaningful to me.

I would want to use my online identity to be recognized and expand my future businesses and career. Ideally, my online identity can help with networking and growing myself.
