Can you share a funny or awkward translation moment you've experienced?
Yes, when i lived in brazil for a couple of months, i was trying to practice my Portuguese early on. I was ordering Pāo de quiejo which translates to bread with cheese. But it is latee i learnt about a similar word Pau which translates to d*ck. Pāo has a nasal sound and not easy to pronounce the right way haha. That was a funny/ awkward moment ordering bread haha
