Interview Questions
Global Assurance Group
Assistant Project Manager – Real Estate Development

How do you prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines?
I prioritize based on impact and urgency. First, I clarify which tasks directly affect the project timeline, budget, or other team members, those always come first. I then break larger tasks into smaller action steps and map them against deadlines so I can realistically allocate the time. I like to work with a clear daily and weekly plan, but I also leave room for unexpected issues, especially in project based environments. Most importantly, I communicate early if priorities shift. In fast paced projects, staying aligned with the team is just as important as staying organized individually.

What interests you about real estate development?
As an engineer that has worked in the real state industry before for a short period of time, what interests me about real estate development is the combination of strategy, execution, and long term impact. It’s a field where planning, coordination, and attention to detail directly shape something tangible and lasting. I’m especially drawn to mixed-use projects because they require balancing multiple moving parts like residential, commercial, timelines, budgets, stakeholders, which makes the process both complex and rewarding. I enjoy environments where organization and structured thinking are critical to success. Real estate development also represents long-term value creation, and I’m motivated by being part of projects that transform ideas on paper into real, physical assets.

How do you stay organized?
I learned a lot about organization by running my own business and testing what worked and did'nt work to keep everything running smoothly. What worked was staying organized by relying on systems, not your own memory. I use task management tools to track deadlines, priorities, and progress, and I break larger projects into smaller actionable steps so nothing feels overwhelming. I also like to plan weekly and review daily, that helps me stay proactive instead of reacting to things appearing out of nowhere . In fast paced environments, I prioritize clarity: clear timelines, clear ownership, and clear next steps after every conversation. For me, organization is really about visibility. If I can clearly see what needs to be done and when, I can execute consistently and avoid that last minute stress we all know.
