Yes, when introducing my friends to something new, I focus on explaining the benefits in a way that relates to their interests. I share my personal experience, answer their questions, and make it easy for them to get started. For example, I have encouraged my friends to try new apps and attend events by highlighting what they could gain and following up with them afterward.
