Tell us about your haircare journey!

My haircare journey has been all about learning to embrace and celebrate my natural texture. I’ve tried a lot of products and styles and several different colors, some hits, some misses; but I’ve finally found some products that works for me and keeps my hair healthy and looking great. It’s been a process of patience, trial and error, and self-love. I enjoy experimenting with different styles and products while making sure my hair stays strong and nourished.

Can you share a previous experience where you successfully promoted a brand or product to a diverse audience?

Yes! I helped promote a campus fashion show that featured local brands and student designers. I made flyers, posted on social media, and shared it in different group chats to reach all kinds of students. I also made fun posts and videos to build hype. A lot of people showed up from different backgrounds, and it showed me how to connect with a diverse crowd and get them excited.

How would you approach engaging with customers to drive traffic to in store events?

To get people to in-store events, I’d use social media and word of mouth to build excitement. I’d post flyers, share it in campus group chats, and personally invite people I know. I’d also create fun incentives like giveaways, exclusive deals, or free snacks to make people want to pull up. I’d make it feel fun, not just like a promo, something students actually want to be part of.
