When I was a junior in high school, my friend and I wanted to make a group that helps people from other countries feel more comfortable when they arrive. We created a group called The Newcomers Club to welcome those who needed support. We held meetings to help with anything like homework, applications, or if they just needed a friend. This was a great experience and I am happy I could help some people feel less lonely in this world.
