I'm involved in the Monarch Club at Grand Canyon University, a Latinx student organization I helped start to celebrate culture, create community, and support representation on campus. We host events that bring students together through food, music, and meaningful conversations. If I were to host this party, it would be for the Latinx community and the wider multicultural student body, giving everyone a chance to experience the richness of our traditions while also creating a space for connection, fun, and inclusivity.

I have meaningful experience with planning and hosting events on campus through my involvement in student organizations. As a founding member, I collaborated with peers and university staff to plan cultural events, social gatherings, and educational discussions that highlighted Latinx heritage and student experiences.In addition, I am actively involved in GCU’s multicultural community, which has given me the opportunity to both lead and support events that promote diversity and inclusion across campus. Through these roles, I’ve learned how to coordinate logistics, promote events to students, and create a welcoming environment where everyone feels represented.
