How can we make the Yope app better for you?
To make Yope even better, I’d focus on three key areas that protect the 'wholesome' mission while reducing friction:
Lower the 'Entry Barrier': I’d streamline the onboarding to be less aggressive with invites. Instead of 'forcing' friends to join to see the UI, let users build a solo 'Memory Wall' first so the value is obvious before they invite their circle.
Introduce 'Micro-Moments' (Video): Support for 5-10 second video clips would be a game-changer. Sometimes a photo doesn't capture the vibe of a concert or a campus prank. Keeping them short and 'raw' ensures we stay away from the 'polished' feel of TikTok.
Interactive Lockscreen Widgets: I’d love to see 'Live Reactions' on the widget-like the ability to send a haptic 'poke' or a small doodle directly onto a friend's photo. It moves the interaction from 'passive viewing' to 'active connection' without needing to open the app.

What do you like most about the Yope app?
What I like most about Yope is that it turns social media from a performance into a presence. Most apps feel like I'm building a portfolio for strangers, but Yope feels like a private digital living room for my actual friends. The Lockscreen Widget is the game changer, it replaces the "scroll fatigue" of an algorithm with genuine, surprise moments from the people I actually care about. It’s wholesome, low pressure, and feels real.
