What is a wellness or beauty brand that has great social media presence? What sets them apart?
Live Tinted is a brand that comes to mind. Although this is a fairly new and small company, the beauty brand has grown substantially in the past few years due to their commitment to diversity and inclusion of all skin tones within the makeup industry. The brand consistently has women of all different skin tones try their products and has a considerable number of posts that show how meaningful the brand’s mission is and how it’s impacted several women of color to make them feel included. This brand draws on the audience’s pathos or emotions to draw them in and make them feel connected to the brand.

How would you describe your knowledge of menstrual health? Do you feel informed on proactive and preventative health measures?
As someone who is currently majoring in public health with an intention to go into medicine, women’s health has always been a great interest of mine. Because of this, I’d say that I do have a decent general understanding of menstrual health. However, I do know that many low-income marginalized women don’t have the same access to these resources about menstrual health, so it’s important to teach them as well.

If you were given 300 Aquaphor products how would you share them and get the word out within your campus community?
I would advertise the gifted Aquaphor products on my social media, such as Instagram. Then, I would hold a giveaway on the most populated spots on campus, and encourage people who pick up the products I’m giving out to also promote Aquaphor on their personal instagrams as well!
