What are tasks you have done in previous marketing jobs? Please attatch your portfolio/ links to your work if possible
In my previous roles, I’ve gained hands-on marketing experience through leadership and creative work in student organizations and internships. Some of the key tasks I’ve completed include:
Social media management: As Editor of my college yearbook, I managed our Instagram page to promote deadlines, events, and sneak peeks of our work. I created engaging graphics using Canva and wrote captions that matched our brand voice and appealed to the student body. Content strategy: I collaborated with exec members to plan themed weeks and campaigns to boost engagement and promote sustainable fashion on campus. Community engagement: I responded to DMs, reshared follower content, and used interactive features like polls and questions to keep our audience involved. Brand storytelling: As Yearbook Editor, I organized photos and designed layouts that captured student life and represented a cohesive visual identity, which translates well into visual storytelling for brand pages. Cross-platform coordination: In APO, I worked with other exec members to promote service events across email, Instagram, and posters, making sure branding and tone were consistent. I don’t have a formal portfolio yet, but I’m happy to share examples of Instagram content I’ve created or walk you through specific projects!
