What are important considerations for you when reviewing a product?

When reviewing a product, I first consider the goal that the product is trying to accomplish. This is the most important aspect. Then, I examine the logistics of how it reaches this goal: is it efficient, is it the best method, is it cost-worthy, is it quick, etc. Finally, I consider if, besides being truly useful, is: does it provide anything else beneficial to the user? For example, is it fun to use? Does it make you happy?

How will you hold members accountable for completing tasks on time?

I will hold members accountable for completing tasks on time by using my excellent communication skills. During meetings, I will announce what task(s) is expected of each person, and follow up afterward with an email to make sure they understand. A few days afterward, I will make sure that they have started, and check in regularly to view progress. About three days before the deadline, I will ensure that the task(s) are being wrapped up and almost completed. At this time, I will also send out an email to confirm progress/completion.

Please talk about something you've done that demonstrates attention to detail.

I co-founded a summer camp last year, called Super Kids Camp, and it was available to local residents of my town that had children under the age of 14. Creating this camp was not too difficult, but it did require me to think of anything and everything possible. I brainstormed daily schedules and themes for the campers, including supplies needed for those crafts, how much they cost, where to get them, etc. I also handled invoices with the parents and had to figure out which payment methods were the easiest or most difficult to deal with. With the campers themselves, I realized that seating charts were necessary after watching them play together. They formed cliques quite easily, and if you listened in on their conversation between groups and kids, you can begin to pick out their friends or ones that constantly harass them. The outdoor conditions were also greatly considered, but beyond whether it would rain- excessive sun meant we needed to provide sunscreen, and too many mosquitos meant dissatisfaction from parents who complained that their child returned home with bites. I could talk endlessly about every detail that I considered while running this camp!
