What tech stack do you think would be best here, given the needs and your personal strenghts / capabilities?

For this FinTech MVP, the ideal tech stack should balance rapid development, scalability, and ease of use for the target audience (college-aged women). Given the need for asynchronous use, social interaction, and potential AI-driven insights, I’d recommend the following stack based on efficiency and my expertise:

Frontend: React Native – Ideal for cross-platform mobile development, ensuring a smooth user experience. My experience with React (FTC Scorer app) makes this a strong fit.

Tailwind CSS: Lightweight and fast styling for a clean, modern UI.

Backend: Firebase (Firestore, Authentication) – NoSQL database for real-time data sync, easy authentication, and scalability with minimal backend management

AI & Investment Features:

Python (FastAPI) – If implementing AI-driven financial insights or investment simulations, Python is ideal for its strong data science ecosystem.

Third-party APIs – Integrate with existing investment simulators (like Alpha Vantage or Yahoo Finance) to minimize development time.

This stack aligns with my strengths in React, Python, and Firebase while allowing for quick iteration and future scalability.

Please provide your development experience, especially as it relates to building an MVP app.

I have experience developing MVPs and scalable applications, including a React-based scoring app and advanced robotics systems using Java, OpenCV, and TensorFlow. My research involved data analysis on large datasets using C++, aligning well with FinTech applications. Skilled in Python, Java, and full-stack development, I adapt to various tech stacks, including no-code/low-code. My leadership in outreach and education helps me design user-friendly experiences for college-aged users. Passionate about AI and ML, I can integrate intelligent financial insights. With strong problem-solving and technical skills, I can develop an engaging MVP that meets user needs and attracts investor interest.
