Interview Questions
Uber
Uber Eats Watch Party Ambassador
How would Uber Eats enhance your watch party?
Uber Eats would enhance the watch party by making food ordering seamless, convenient, and social, which is especially important during a high-energy event like the World Cup Opening Ceremony. Instead of students leaving to pick up food and missing moments of the game, Uber Eats allows everyone to stay engaged while enjoying group orders from popular local restaurants. It also creates a more interactive experience through shared meals, exclusive promotions, and Uber One for Students sign-up incentives integrated directly into the event. Since the World Cup naturally brings together large groups of students, especially within the Latino community at UCF, Uber Eats would become a central part of the atmosphere by making it easy to coordinate food, save money, and enhance the overall viewing experience.

Where will you be located for the World Cup? (at home or school)
I will be located in Orlando throughout the World Cup period. My home is only about 15 minutes away from UCF, and I’ll also be taking summer classes, so I’ll remain very connected to campus and the student community during that time. This gives me the flexibility to host and promote events consistently while staying actively engaged with students both on and around campus.

Can you host a World Cup watch party? Which game would you host a party for?
Yes, I can absolutely host a World Cup watch party, and I would host it for the Opening Ceremony and opening match on June 11th: Mexico vs. South Africa. As someone deeply connected to UCF’s Latino student community, I know firsthand how engaged students become during the World Cup, especially for major Latin American teams like Mexico. Soccer is a huge cultural and social moment within the Latino community, and events like these naturally bring students together around food, celebration, and shared experiences. This would make the event especially impactful through partnerships with organizations like the Mexican Student Association at UCF, along with groups like VENSA and COLSA, to drive attendance and create an energetic, community-driven atmosphere. Uber Eats and Uber One for Students would fit seamlessly into the experience through group food orders, exclusive promotions, and sign-up incentives, making Uber a central part of how students celebrate and engage with the tournament together.
