At my current job, American Eagle, maintaining a prevalent social media presence is important for our store. Every shift I work to coordinate photo shoots amongst other coworkers including our newest clothing drops. Additionally, I work towards making fun posts that encourage our followers to visit our store and book a shopping appointment. The engagement received on the social media posts directly outline our success because it gives us an analysis of how many people we’re connecting with, even though it may not be a follower. Social media overall greatly helps business because due to its rising popularity, it’s the easiest way to connect to people, gain more exposure, and get your message out.
