First and foremost, I try to develop an in depth understanding of the product and its purpose. I focus on its quality and durability. Then, when testing its actual features, I ensure that it fulfills the intended purpose. In my experience testing products and software, I have always considered my natural response to using the product. I dictate my steps to understand where I get stuck and where I feel the product can be more user friendly. I want to feel that the product is easy to use and intuitive. I determine if the product is appealing aesthetically, and finally, I determine if it is worth the money. For example, if a high-quality product is able to be produced sustainably, I would definitely be more inclined to pay for it and would consider that in my review.
