What’s always in your backpack?

In a way, my backpack serves as my survival equipment! Snacks (granola bars because I get hungry), a water bottle, headphones for studying in noisy environments, and some sort of refresher product, like deodorant wipes or face cleansing supplies, are the real lifesavers, aside from the obvious necessities like a laptop, chargers, and notebooks. In addition to the typical miscellaneous items like hair ties, gum, and an excessive number of probably useless pencils, I also keep hand sanitizer, lip balm, and hand lotion because the air on campus may be harsh. You never know when you'll need them!

How do you reset after a long day of classes?

That simple yet efficient reset procedure is what I'm all about after a full day of classes! I wash my face first thing in the morning because it feels so nice to remove the tension and campus air from my skin, especially if I use a decent cleanser that doesn't make me feel dry. I'll then put on some cozy pajamas and spend five minutes or less on skincare, using a serum or anything that makes me feel pampered. After an already stressful day, returning to a disorganized area just makes things worse, so I also enjoy completing a little room reset, which includes making my bed, organizing my desk, and maybe lighting a candle. I'll then prepare some meal for myself (even if it's just ramen or something easy) and watch Netflix for a while to unwind and really lose myself. I can truly concentrate on finishing my work after taking that mental vacation without feeling exhausted from the day.

Dorm hack you swear by?

The "5-minute reset" between classes is perhaps my best dorm trick, I keep everything I need in one location so I can quickly re-energize and feel put together before leaving again. After a lengthy lecture or study session, I swear by keeping face wipes or a mild cleanser like Sea Foam Face Wash at my desk since it instantly transforms me into a whole different person. Because, let's face it, rushing across campus between courses might get you a little sweaty, and deodorant wipes are so much simpler than attempting to reapply conventional deodorant in a small dorm toilet, I also carry them in my backpack. as you just have ten minutes between your organic chemistry class and your psychology lecture, you need goods that operate quickly and don't require a full setup. This will help you feel secure as you walk into your next lesson.
