If you had to explain AudioTrack to a friend in one sentence, what would you say?

"It's basically the app that pays you for posting videos with music — something you're probably already doing for free."

Who on your campus do you think would be the best fit for AudioTrack, and why?

Honestly, without even thinking too hard about it — music students and content creators would be the most obvious fit, but they're not necessarily who I'd go to first. The people I'd target are the ones who are already posting consistently but haven't figured out how to monetise it yet. Because the hardest part of selling any platform is convincing someone to change their behaviour. These people are already doing the behaviour — they just need a better reason to keep doing it. Specifically I'm thinking about: The campus TikTok kids — there's always a group of students known for their videos. They already understand trends, they already use music, and they already care about views. AudioTrack is basically built for them. Music and creative arts students — they're producing original sounds anyway. The idea that their music could be used and earn them something is genuinely exciting for that crowd. Student influencers and brand ambassadors — anyone already working with brands on campus understands the value of monetisation. They'd get it immediately and probably become the most active advocates. The social butterflies — the course reps, hostel leaders, the people everyone knows. They might not be the biggest creators but their reach on campus is unmatched. One post from them hits differently than ten posts from someone with a smaller circle. The common thread across all of them is simple — they're already visible, already creating, and already influential. AudioTrack doesn't need to teach them to post. It just needs to show them there's money in what they're already doing. That's a pretty easy conversation to have.

what would be the first step you'd take to get more people from your school using Audiotrack?

Honestly, the very first thing I'd do is start close — my own circle. Not a mass campaign, not flyers, not a big launch. Just genuine one-on-one conversations with the people I already know who create content. The friend who's always posting on TikTok, the guy in my department who does music, the girl in my hostel who's always filming her day. Those people. Because here's the thing — nobody joins a platform because of a poster on a notice board. They join because someone they actually trust said "hey, I'm on this thing and it's legit, you should check it out." That personal recommendation is worth more than any marketing. So I'd start by getting those people to sign up, helping them understand how it works, and making sure they actually see the value — especially the part about making money from posting with music. That's the hook. Most students don't know that's even possible, so the moment it clicks, they naturally want to tell someone else. Once I have even a small group of active users on campus, word spreads on its own. People see their friends using it, they get curious, they ask questions. That's when you have something real to build on. Basically — before I try to reach everyone, I'd focus on reaching the right five people first. Everything else grows from there.
