what are you involved in on campus?

I am part of the Vinsider Club, a student media and communication team at VinUni. Their job is to share cool stories, interviews, and updates about the school, students, and events.

What I do in Vinsider: I am a member of the public speaking group where I write scripts for interviews—especially when talking to important professors from VinUni and other top universities. Basically, I help make those interviews sound great and flow well, and sometimes I am the host as well!

HOW DO YOU MANAGE YOUR TIME IN COLLEGE?

1. Start My Week With God & Planning (Sunday Night) 30 mins: Prayer + dedication of the week. 30 mins: Write my spiritual, academic, personal, and social goals for the week. Block my calendar (Google Calendar or Notion) with those goals first, then everything else. 📚 2. Use Power Hours (Not Long Study Blocks) 2 focused “power hours” a day. One in the morning, one at night. During each power hour: phone off, deep focus, no distractions. I’d use Pomodoro if I’m tired (25 min focus, 5 min rest). 🧠 3. Assign Each Course a Day e.g., Monday = Biochem focus, Tuesday = Public Health, Wednesday = Anatomy, etc. I wouldn't try to touch every course every day—that’s chaos. 📖 4. Study Before Class, Not After I’d skim lecture slides or notes 30 mins before class. That way, I walk in familiar, and retain 3x more. After class, I’d just review + update key points. Less stress. Less cram. 📱 5. Use My Phone Smartly Lock social media with a Focus Mode during class/study blocks. But I’d still use it for good: record myself explaining concepts, use voice notes for reflections, pray with Bible apps. 💃🏽 6. Treat My Energy, Not Just My Time If I’m on my period, tired, or mentally drained, I’d do lighter work (summarize, review, flashcards). On high-energy days, I’d tackle hard subjects or write essays. 🧘🏽‍♀️ 7. Leave “Buffer Gaps” I wouldn’t schedule back-to-back all day. I’d leave 1-hour buffer blocks between key activities to reset, pray, eat, breathe. 🕯 8. Night Routine = Reflect + Recommit 15 mins: What went well today? What didn’t? Adjust. Pray. Reset. Sleep early. No scrolling. 📌 Tools I’d Use: Google Calendar (with time-blocking) Notion or GoodNotes for note planning Forest / Focus Keeper for Pomodoro Bible App + Journaling App to stay grounded spiritually
